something is happening in the family, and it seems like we may just drift apart in the near future. ohwell, i guess we all saw this coming, especially after the loss of our focal point. its been bothering me since this morning, and this feeling is really awful. perhaps we are too close, hence the thought of not meeting up as often or poorer turnouts is quite demoralising. and we know we need one another to keep us going, to stay strong and all. the departure of grandmama made us even more bonded and stronger than before, but im afraid this may not last. well we'll still have our regular gatherings, but with lesser people and maybe a different kind of atmosphere, things just wont seem right hmm. i do hope we'll stay this way forever, and i love you guys alot alot<3
i cant imagine myself still crying over the loss of my grandmother,
but i guess thats how close we were.

despite the failed surprise (as always) cause of the classic comment, i hope you enjoyed sunday as much as we did! and dont worry about being 1year older, cause its hard to grow old and too mature with a bunch of crazy people around you!=D

trip back home was awesome. and contrary to popular belief, no steamboat this time round, but seafood instead=DD yeah great food great company as usual, lifes great(=
topic this time round was on children and their aspirations. my cousin got into the state team for handball but his mum doesnt allow cause she feels that studies is more impt and by playing for the state he'll screw up his studies. but another uncle of mine thinks tt its good to let him pursue his dreams and give him freedom to do what he wants, so they started 'debating' abt this whole thing, all the way till2+am=/ and we just sat and listened, and i realised my parents are the only ones who both feel tt studies is of utmost importance and we shld just ignore things like passion because it wont get you anywhere, unlike my other uncles/aunts, for which their spouses and them share differing views. well i guess now i know why my parents want both of us to excel and not focus so much on non-academic stuff. they dont really approve of my other commitments all these while, like band and mpa and other stuff back in crescent. to them its like a waste of time maybe. well now i know.
on a separate note, does being 18 mean having the ability to make decisions independently. im quite lost now, maybe i shld sleep and toss a coin tmr or sth.

i just figured i didnt blog abt arts fest=/
yeah, so artsfest, our last official event together, as a section, as a band.
well we didnt play as well compared to syf, but i thought it was a great performance nevertheless(= ohh and during the chorale part, i looked at leng and he was doing something to his face. it looked as though he was wiping his tears away hahaha. idk if he really was doing tt, but i was tearing alr. yes on stage, halfway through the piece.
