MUSICAL EVENING 2006. rawked the esplanade concert hall totally yesterday. bandbandband.
went to sch at 9 yesterday morn. haha, for the fact i slept only 6hours after coming back frm msia. well, was too tired larh but still manage to stay awake. so the usual giving food and stuffs and getting frantic and panicky larh... ... blahblah.
reached esplanade at ard 12? im not sure. stuck in the artist lounge and stoned for 1hour plus, besides getting hair tied. oh and wenjun, its not act cute lorh. its tradition and your one ponytail din look mature afterall. ahma(= and teasing peiting is fun. though was quite scared of her last time but after she graduated, its so diff. anyway peiting, must pract more on tying hair. then next time can tie better(= oh wells.
rehearsals and the usual thing abt how to walk up smartly, sit down properly... then come the pompom part. haha. mrschua say must be more enthusiastic and be more high. quite impossible at tt time cos audience place was practically empty. pple will think we keesiao=P so tried to do it more enthusiatically larh, but like no diff larh... and we were so scared we screw up the dpd opening lorh...shivers.
so hao3 bu4 rong3 yi4 waited till 7pm when the hse finally opened. then felt sudden pain in the stomach lorh. they were saying it was because too nervous. but it was when they said tt tt i felt nervous larh, well cos of the opening of course. when we finally sat at the stage, saw thousands of eyes staring on stage and yarh, stage fright. boohoo. managed to pull through the opening at last and really felt so so so relieved, though it wasnt as good as expected)= then come to the high sch thing, the pompom power came. haha, and was damn high lorh. think we did well for the 15min item larh. was a good opening to the concert i suppose(= then went off stage and zuo4 bo2 for 20 minutes or so. then intermission. saw eddy, felissa, yan, bern, tania, erika, soap, shermaine, qiao... alot alot of familiar faces. damn happy(=
.......waited for another 20minutes or so which seemed like years... oh wait. perc emsemble rawked! well done perc!!! always like their emsmeble. so funny. esp. priscillagoh. the joker larh. then to the stars. think we did better then rehearsals. so it was good? better larh. finale. dancers were quite high larh, cos maybe last item liao then no burden anymore. the gimme a C part is last minute idea lorh. like a bit sudden. and dear yuen cun spell crescent. haha. so funny lorh. self encore at the end and thanks load alumni, for the cheers and stuffs. yay(=
on the whole, it was certainly a wonderful experience in terms of co-operation and how to put up a 1.5 hr show with diff grps of pple. many many thanks to those who came down to support us, be it the band or wad. despite the X price, y'all still came. thanks. and thanks alot alot for the gifts and stuffs. really appreciate it. [ i suppose a lot of them are displayed in the freezer now=P] and thank you to all the teachers and co-ordinators, conductors too. also, a great job for the angklung, dance, indian dance... y'all showed great confidence and did well for your first concert. choir too. oh yarh, to the stars was good. haha(=
