parents' day dinner last night was rather successful i guess, so tts not bad(= it felt great to see all the ahmas and ahgongs laughing so happily and participating in all the games enthusiastically. i really hope they'll stay happy and healthy=)
and yeah, thought of my own grandmama. maybe i dont show it or tell anyone abt this anymore, but i reallyreally do miss her alot. it still seems as though she just left us ystd or sth. hmmmmmmm.

todays the last day of sem1. but things didnt turn out as well as it was supposed to. okay maybe except tt i passed my half-prepared econs essay.
spent breaks rushing between fishtank and library for gp stuff due to miscomm. and yeah got quite angsty and pissed. wasnt anyone's fault larh, just tt i cant stand rushing out stuff last minute. and since gp was the last lesson of the day, my mood was like tt throughout the day. sorry to those i blackfaced, i still hope tt you guys will have a great holiday, amidst all the crazy mugging(=

so this week is the last week of the term, again. and soon, everything, good or bad, will be all over.
as i was walking past the central plaza this morning, i looked around me and figured tt a few more months later, i wont be spending more than 1/2 of my time in this school. a few weeks ago, i was still ranting abt how 2/3 of my everyday was spent in there. but now, a few weeks later, i realise tt somehow, it'll be hard to say goodbye.
back to saturday, was really glad to see tingwei and gor. yeah, havent seen them in a while, havent talked to them either (tingwei at least). and no, no trouble at all kay, so no worries=) welll, i sort of miss last year a little, when the seniors were still around. it was obviously more carefree being juniors, for you could rely on them and seek help from them almost always. but yeah, we'll all grow up and move on i guess.

teamHC`2009. we're the gold<3okay, on to something else. did i ever mention tt i have a cool littlegor hahahaa. i think i did but i shall just say moreeee=) idk, but suddenly i feel like talking abt him hehh. yeah, its really nice to have elder brothers to cheer you up when you're down, to listen to all your rubbish and simply to be there. so ive collected a new brother last year aka littlegor who is super awesome=D and he is really zai cause he entered a cool faculty (he repeated n times) and he is going to get a fab job in future hohohohhhh=DD actl idk why i feel like saying all these suddenly, i think its cause there wasnt any phonecall on my way home at 9plus just now mehhh. ohwelll, littlegor ftw!<3
on a separate note, there was jts today at sakura. let me elaborate, its YIOCHUKANG's sakura=_=' yes, 40minutes of train ride, totally killed me i swear. but food was good hahaha, so compensated a little. company was great, so offsetted everything i guess hahaha. yes, im starting to love my class more and moreee!=D

we went up full of smiles and confidence, we played like it was our last performance, we sang and touched many, we ended the last note together as one, we walked down the stage with pride.
and there it was, gold. yeah, no honours if you're wondering. idk, maybe i felt tt we deserve something better. we wanted to get tt honours badly, for mrleng, for our seniors and for ourselves. somehow there was just this teeny weeny bit of disappointment.
but its okay, for we enjoyed what we played and we gave our best on stage that morning. honours or not, it doesnt really matter anymore, because we played like one. all the late night pracs, ulcers and cracked lips, dozing-off-during-lessons were all worthwhile. and looking back at 18th april's exchange, we really improved tremendously, from a no-pulse poor-intonation band to a technically-good band with awesome expression and shape in our music. im truly proud to be a part of this team of musicians.
heard the recording ystd and it was so touching i teared. the sound, the tone and the emotions, really amazing. few weeks back, i'd never have imagined tt to be our music. but hey, im glad we did it(= comments on bandfusion were rather heartwarming, things like, 'after hearing sa, vj and hc, i will not judge the bands by the medals they get' or sth along tt line. and the ones on the singing part, this random guy was quite surprised tt we got all the chords in tune and all hahaha. well, at least the 1+hour getting terrorised by mrgoh paid off! liangsai said he saw the judges looking up almost immediately when we started the chorale hehh, how i wish i saw tt too(=
life without band is really weird. explains why im so free on a saturday morning=/ carried instruments back to college with irene ystd and when we were busy packing the blazers and all, i thought,'in a few weeks' time, i wont be coming here on a almost-daily basis anymore' yeah, sadddd. speaking of which, after we got our results on thursday, liangsai and his team of people started playing random pieces as usual. the best part was, they played auld lang syne=_= and so i cried. cried even more when chai hugged me. rarrr, the feeling of parting is always so sad, esp when you're super close to these people. quote nutcase,'i love you all, i feel so close to you all' hahaha funny when you hear her say(shall post the video up someday=P), but its really true honestly.
photos will come later after nutcase is done uploading. as of now, thankyou so much my awesome possum horn section! yes we know we are the noisiest section in the band, we pour acid on one another and niao one another each and every day etcetc, but we are the most bonded section im sure! its nice to come into college bandroom each morning to see >half the people there belonging to the hornsection, and its very encouraging to always have full attendance in our section(= and the fact tt i saw only irene ystd was really weird, like super emptyyyy. suddenly i want to have syf all over again=/ but anyhow, thankyou chai irene nut edwin jason ziyan benja, for all the joy and love! thankyou chai too, for being really understanding towards my h3 and mpa and all. thankyou amanda too, for all the support! ohh and lewis! yeah, i hope he is not upset over what leng said, cause we really think we improved alot under him! so thankyou lewis!=D and noad tooo of course(=
many thanks to all who texted on 7th's morning, if my reply was super short, im very sorry cause we were all in a rush. but i do thank all of you for tt! thankyou caining for coming down too and for having so much faith in us! thankyou hcband for all the funny and fun times (which is all the time basically) and for all the smiles and optimisim when things didnt look good(= finally, thankyou mrleng! yes younghandsomemacho leng hahahah if he insists, for not giving up on us after we malu-ed him on exchange day.

happy labour day all!=D
band pract ystd was crazily fun. okay, maybe for the crazy horn section only hahaha. it started with us (chai irene edwin me) talking randomly in the sideroom. then idk what got into irene, she combed her hair into centre-parting and laughed at herself for looking retarded. the thing was, her laughter was in a crescendo-like manner, it was supersuper contagious tt all of us burst out laughing too. and the laughter never stopped till like 5minutes later, cause chai couldnt stop laughing and when irene saw tt she started laughing her crescendo-like way again and got us all cracked up. yeah and the cycle repeated till benja came in. before tt we recorded irene's laughter, so we got him to guess whose laughter tt was hahaha. and zongxian was so amused hahaha, his laughter is super funny too! hahahah our section is just crazy, and we even wanted to put irene's laughter as our ringtones. i bet it'll scare the hell out of everyone hahahah.
okay back to actual band pract. we did good i thought, or rather we all thought. sounding better each day and all hehh. yeah man, i think we're so going to make it this time round, to the top even. yayy yayy, lets go hcband!=D
lunched with chongers at swensens this afternoon, talked abt random stuff as usual. but i thought something was missing, like the atmosphere? neh idk, maybe its just me. and then went around singapore in search for syf stuff. brasbasah's artfriend for cheeshanish messages, candyempire with liwei for cool yet ex candies, tiong to develop photos. ohh the stupid thing was, i took the wrong train can you believe it. i happily went into the train at tiong and started to look at the new circle line until the woman said, 'outram park interchange'. i was like O.O hahaha, and realised i took the one in the opposite direction=_=' yeah, tts what you get for not going out in the past 1+ month? yesyes, me the cavewoman, if you are laughing at me now=/
