281207. today marks the OFFICIAL end of my journey as a cgssb-it and marks the OFFICIAL start of my longlong journey as a cgssb alumni member((=
so there is band farewell today, for the sec4s [which is us] and there is also the celebrations for syf2oo7 [just to refresh our memories, we got
GOLD.] and ME`o7. went to school at ard 12 and was welcomed by linda, michellina, lian, tessa and isabellewong. funny people. waited a rather long while for the others to arrive, but sadly many din turn up cos they're either overseas or not free=( video was funny but somehow it did touch my heart because it walked us through our 4years in cgssb, how we turned frm amateurs to more experienced ones, from juniors to seniors, from strangers to closefriends and from individuals to one united batch. though pris said in her speech,"i know you guys dont want us back anymore...", i thank the juniors for being the best juniors one could ever have. oh, and i thank the hornists for the really nice scrapbook. your efforts are really really appreciated=DD had section lunch at tiong bk after that, but it was such a pity that jiaen wasnt present=( then again, im still very glad that our section is still so united and all. yay(=
seriously, im starting to miss the horns and the sec4s again. people like liwei, heng, gel, wj, yuen&gang, xinliang, wanling, ersy...
no more suaning yuen abt her hair during practs. no more complaining to heng abt how high the notes in our scores were.no more laughing real hard with liwei for no particular reasons. no more crapping with the horns during sectionals when we were supposed to be practising really hard for syf and all. no more eating first during section lunches just because i was the sl. no more talking to the section before concerts and syf.no more running away frm adelene and her glares when i say sth bad.no more marching under the sun, grumbling at the same time.no more running punishments with X2, and gloating at pris&heng&wj&comm for X3.no more competing loudness with the trumpets during sectionals.no more chionging down straight after class to the band room.no more counting down to band practs during history lessons with yuen.no more psycho-ing brina and making sure she turns up for band practs.no more competing with adel to see who could cry first.no more borrowing mallets frm the perc section to fix our horns.no more cracking up at the slightest things yuen&gang do.no more gossiping inside the storeroom abt random stuffs.no more correcting yuen&adel&emi&heng's weird chinese and their essays.no more adjusting my sitting position almost every minute just to ensure my tb doesnt break.no more giving the mouthpieces and cups to the juniors to wash while we sit and slack.no more shouting across the band room like some aunties in the market.no more staring at the clock, wondering when yuen&wj will finish making announcements.no more squeezing up the jam-packed 111 with lw, wj and xl during peak hours after practs so we could get home and chiong homework.no more 'band stand's , 'go for sectionals's, 'can borrow your tuner's, 'go in for combine's and 'y'all are dismissed's.no more band.damn, they are making me all so sad again.
then, i started to realise im never gg to come back to crescent as a student anymore. and of course, there are many other people in crescent whom i love alot. lily, michc, liwen, bell, keon, joyce's', jingyi, darli, yanting, karen, michg, gail, jane, denise, peiyi, gloria, missng, laoshi's', mrschia, mrloh, mrstang...
will miss having michelle by my side and crapping with me all day long.will miss lily doing all sorts of funny moves and 'siam-ing' whenever she hears 'NAIMA!!'will miss su giving that whats-wrong-with-you face when mich and i dropped books and bottles on the floor and asked her to pick up for us.will miss brina asking abt the concept that was taught a minute ago.will miss having books strewn all over our tables simply because brina and darli cant be bothered to put their books under their desks.will miss waiteng always[almost] paying attention to class because shes the council p.will miss listening to bell's whines and complains because she was too tired, too sweaty or too sick of classes.will miss flipping through keon's maths ex books and be amazed at the number of maths questions she've done.will miss wendy and lili and the reps chasing after people for money.will miss szewai turning red in the face whenever she was told to answer a question.will miss jingyi and puisheen always competing to see who finishes given assignments first.will miss mrloh and his weird handwriting=Pwill miss mrstang's "cheeshan, this is how you should solve the sum..."s and "michelle, please do not split pages"s.will miss the times we tried really hard to stay awake during mrschia's lessons.will miss being bored during assemblys when mrslee or the teachers go on abt some philosophy of life.will miss sitting next to yuen during assemblys by chance and talking abt band.will miss sitting with yuen, brina and mich during history, not paying attention and talking abt our ccas.will miss the"xia guo tiao jia dan"s on tues/thurs and "chao fan"s on friday.will miss running up the rotunda because we were late for class.will miss coming up with creative or stupid ideas during OM.will miss doing central duty with neo.will miss slacking at the back with eddy, bern and neo during council.will miss yanting staring at me with the why-arent-you-wearing-your-council-tie look.will miss the priceless look on mich's face when the solution in our test-tubes turn purple or green or pink.will miss the stunned look on su/lily's face when she breaks a test tube or a burette in the chem lab.will miss all the serious talks with bell ,lily and keon outside class during prelims period.will miss sitting in the audi with all the sec4s, checking scripts and doing papers.will miss scribbling furiously on the exam scripts like everyone else in the hall during Os.will miss wearing the 'class of 2007' pullover in school.will miss c2o4o5o6o7.will miss crescent.<33

merrychristmas=DDDDDDDDD
christmas gatherings are always fun, esp at bp(= had gathering with my family yesterday, to celebrate christmas and to celebrate neinei's birthday too. saw lots of people whom i havent seen in ages, like dayi, michelle/eric, mar and LEROY! haha. hes damn cute larh. fyi, he is my nephew=P he kept running around, fighting with xiaoyi then bro&gang kept "ordering" him to do stuffs like some commandos. piangs. seriously, i think they're just powerhungry=P
dinner was as usual, fun with all sorts of jokes and random comments. food was alright, 'cept for the fact i dont understand why there wasnt any rice. weird but oh wells, lets just pretend we're all on a diet=P gift xchange after dinner was damn high i reckon. so the adults decided to join us and we had a great deal of fun giving/receiving presents, esp with bro&xcyz as the "hosts" of the night=P and, the presents were all really funny ones, with bpgang being the most hilarious bunch. roulette, lotto and something i cant rmb. plus bro bought disney poker frm hk, so we concluded that we simply love to gamble. xcyz suggested we bring out all the stuffs during newyear nextyear so we can have a wider variety of "programmes" instead of the usual bj and daidee=PP
gatherings with besties are always full of laughter and joy. im so thankful to have ALL of them around. and i insist that marilyn should join us next christmas=D oh yes, thankyou to all who wished and thankyou a special someone for all the msges, care and love. appreciated=D yay, i had a wonderful christmas, did you? >.<

im finally back from 6days of holidays! haha, tired, but it was damn fun and enjoyable(((= my family rawks<33
went penang on 17th
[HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRO!!!!!!!!!] so had to spend the night on the bus. was really cold and i seriously couldnt understand why some random uncle[i din know them at first] had to ask the driver to play some movie. like people were trying to catch some sleep in an uncomfortable position and there you are, adding to our frustration. i swore i would have shot him if i had a gun. haha.
penang was a lot of praying. visited lots of temples and prayed that Os results would be good for me and friends. that was abt all in penang. travelled to thailand the next morning, hatyai. apparently we reached there late so we had to give up half a day of shopping. haha, sad but it gave us some time to rest. dinner was spicy, to me and im sorry but tomyams not my type of soup=( watched some performance after that. nice but was quite scary. you know those typical thai shows, i was rather disgusted. they stood in front of the door after the performance to prevent the audience from leaving so that they could force us to take photos with them and give them money. eeyer, i think a back gate would be damn useful.
2nd day in thai was a lil' temple visiting and praying then after dinner was shopping spree. yay(= heard people go to hatyai to shop. and i believe so too=D got a ring and a racer at the mall and got a necklace when we were roaming around the night market. the stuffs were really really cheap. gosh, i would have bought everything i set my eyes on if i had the strength to carry them home haha. got a belt for kor too, since we still owe a bday present.
fourth day was a whole day of shopping. when to their "pa sha" in the morning and bought a pair of shorts i think. oh, got a bag too. i only rmb we spent alot of time at the stall selling jerseys. had to buy one for kor, but everyone ended up buying for themselves, their sons, boyfriends lalala. think we got 13 in the end. one thing i learnt during that period of time was: the skill of bargaining. i think i've inherited this marvellous skill frm my parents and maybe my grandparents cause my whole family can bargain really well. we got goods for less than half the original price haha. im so proud of my family=P lunch was buffet at some place and we overtook quite abit of food, so ended up we had to divide the food amongst ourselves and force them down our throat. and we had to shove some of them into paperbags discreetly and sneak out of the place=P spent the rest of the afternoon at the same shopping place, got shoes. dinner was at some restaurant where there was a lady singing to entertain us. but seriously, anyone of my family member could sing better than her. oops. my joker cousin still asked me across the table,"ping2 shen3, qing2 gei3 fen1" haha, he is damn funny. after dinner was the last round of shopping before we go home the next morning. went to their pasamalam to spend the remaining thaimoney we had and buy more things of course. and we think we broke the world records. apprently their "tut-tut" [van-like cab] could only sit like 10people max. in the end 19 of us squeezed into the cab, with 2people standing at the back. everyone around us on the road was laughing and the cabdriver was laughing damn hard. im sure he was damn entertained by all of us=D got 2pairs of shorts at the pasamalam and went back to the hotel at 11pm. thought we were gg to pqack and sleep and prepare to go home. BUT. my cousin needed to buy stuffs for her colleagues so all of us went out again to the nightmarkets. got slippers and another necklace and walked alot more. went back at like 12am but 'ahxuan' auntie said we had to buy supper for our fathers and uncles drinking beer and crapping along the corridors on the level we stayed at. so dabao-ed 10pratas back and watched the person making the pratas one by one with our eyelids falling by the minute. reached the hotel at 1am i guess, with our feet all sore and painful due to almost 12hours of shopping. i hoped all the fats which had accumulated in my thighs during these few days of eating have been converted into muscles=DD
reached malaysia at 12am yesterday because there was traffic jam and we stopped lots of time for lunch, toiletbreaks and all. returned to singapore this afternoon with alot of unpacking, washing and packing to do.
on the whole, the trip was nice, of course with my family. and got to know other people living in our hometown and 'ahxuan' auntie's daughter is damn cute. think her name is weimin. and apprently my nephew likes her cause he kept following her around, so we kept teasing him these few days. but her daughter is only2years old larh, haha, so we were just crapping and joking nonstop. wellwell, i liked my family like that, all happy and cheery, helping one another carry bags, buying drinks, talking nonstop and laughing at our own jokes. if only the whole of my family can be like that. but for a family of 80+, its not really easy eh. OH WELL. my family still rawks<33333
