SO. today marks the end of 2008 and i actually cant believe it. maybe this year really passed way too fast. ohwelll, this year has been alright on the whole i guess(=
january was a month of fun, mainly because there werent any official lectures or what. orientation was great beyond description with a bunch of funloving ogmates and a fab ogl who eventually morphed into my godbrother hahaha. and then 24th, besides lily's 17th, our 'O's results. i swear that was one of the best things that has happened to me(= my heartfelt gratitude goes to crescent and its team of wonderful teachers<33
i cant recall much abt feb-april, just lessons proper and lots of tests i guess=/
may was, as usual, the best month of the year hehh. turned 17, a cool age like i mentioned(= felt a lot more mature and learned to use my binoculars more[cgssb lingo=P] 30th was capriccio, my first concert with the hcband, one of the best group of musicians one can ever play with, and the horn section, the high-est section in the band=DD
june-october was a period of mugging mainly, for blocks and for promos. honestly, i've never seen people mugging so hard before. call me a mugger yes, but its really my first time seeing people mugging in almost every corner of the school=S or maybe crescent is just slacker hahaha. didnt expect myself to do superbly well, so i was just glad to have been promoted(((=
then came november, the disaster. op was on 4th, grandma departed on 3rd. it was already hard to do up op stuff and getting the whole group ready and grandma's incident just dealt a blow on me. 3rd's night was the worst in my whole entire life seriously.
december hmmmm. had noel on 4th, with the highsch and nanyang juniors. it was a good attempt, us and the organising committee. and the horn juniors are great kids to have((= then christmas, one of the more happy family events this year [refer to previous previous post]=D
yeah so thats about all this year. and i wouldnt have survived this year and all these wouldnt have been possible without these few people(s) :
- og25, for giving me a great start to the year and for all the love and joy and fun which made hc so much more friendly and lovely=DD- tingwei, for being a superb angel and ensuring that i didnt get outcasted during pae period. thankyou for those talks here and there which enlightened me quite a bit, and thankyou alot for the support in november. all the best in ns next year kay!=DD
- hcband, seniors and batchmates, for making band practs so much more enjoyable and less dreadful(= its been really nice working with you guys and thankyou for making me laugh every pract. school has become a betterbetter place with all of you around<33
- hchorns! hahaha yes, the most talented, enthu and funny people in the band((= thankyou for all the jokes which kept all of us awake during practs. thankyou too, for all the encouragement and support [batchmates esp], and the rubbish [mostly during morning assemblies]. to batchmates and juniors, we'll own syf together, hchorns ftw!<33- gor, for always being there. thankyou so much for everything, esp being my permanent rubbishbin(= weeklys've been fun with all your smses and night rides home have been really entertaining with your calls. do take lots of care next year alright, i thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for being such an awesome character in my life<33
- jingyi, my dearest classmate=PP hahaha thankyou for keeping me alive in class, tts so very important and keeping me updated with all the latest gossips. i look forward to another wonderful year with you, jiayou for As, seeyou soon!<33
- LILYY, my beloved bff for 5 years and counting(= seriously, i cant imagine life without you hahaha. thankyou for being a call/sms/centralplaza away, and your hugs and shoulders have always made the worst things fine. well, being such close friends, you should know what i want to say hehh. jiayou for everything next year, esp 'A's, wo ai ni hen duo hen duo!<33
- besties(= thankyou for everything this year, all the love and support. thankyou for making time for all the gatherings. sundays have been fab and filled with lots of fun and laughter with your company. though this year didnt end too well for all of us, we'll pull through it together and im sure it'll make us stronger than before. thankyou for being the bestest cousins one can ever have<333 last but not least, HAPPY 2009 ALL!=D

hmmm, thoughtprovoking. tt was what mrleng asked after telling us a longg story as usual. but true enough, its hard to get someone to feel your way if he/she hasnt gone through the same process. he/she may think he/she understands, but actually he/she doesnt. okay if you understand what i mean=/

okay i know im damn lag but i needed the photos before i can sit down and blog. but anyway, merry belated christmas!=DD
christmas eve was spent with family again this year and it was super fun and entertaining=) had our usual gift exchange at ard 11+ and we were practically shouting and laughing throughout the whole process. it was so bad that lj's neighbours even look through their windows at us hahaha. but who cares, its christmas afterall!=DD it was really funny cause we were all eyeing the cash prizes kindly and generously sponsored by the urm older generation hahaha and it was very amusing watching the present-opening cause you really never know whats inside hahaha. but all in all it was great=DD sat around and shared a bit of stuff, about 2008 and like what to expect in 2009. sounds serious ehh, but no. knowing us, it turned out to be some typical crapping/niaoing session=P
then off we went for supper! wheee hahaha, decided on toapayoh initially cause of the highly anticipated porridge at haijinglou(= but the drivers were too lazy they went on strike=_=' so we went to bukittimah instead omggg. i was like, 'what, bt again?!' and the best part was someone even suggested prataplace=_=' thankfully there were too many violent objections we ate porridge at wendongji in the end=D food was not bad, but i wasnt feeling well so idk, a little tasteless? but im sure it was just me cause everyone else was happily eating away=S but its alright, company was fab=D left for home at ard 2+ and that was my christmaseve+christmasmorning((=
yayy. i think we're going to celebrate newyear's eve aka kua4 nian2 together this wednesday. i hope so hahaha, i think its an awesome idea hahaha. besties ftw!<33333

hmmm theres like only 3 more weeks to the start of school again, and there're so many things undone omg. to think i still believed at the start of this holidays that i would be able to do alot more stuff this time round since our break is extended. but i guess life is just so unpredictable. well if we are close enough, you should know what i mean larh. haiii tsk, im beginning to dread the new year now.

wheee today was yayyness=D but before tt, operation 1412 was great tooo hahaha. we painstakingly came up with this plan which we thought was totally perfect without any loopholes, in order to surprise him. and it was really hard to act i swear but we managed to get him to the carpark to get the car eventually hahaha. then my cousin was supposed to pretend to be some carthief trying to steal from our car. we were all ready to record his reaction hahaha and meanwhile the adults were to discreetly make their way up to my place and wait for all the kids to come back and surprise him with the cake and blahblah. the beginning was good but it wasnt successful in the end hahahah. shant elaborate but it was super hilarious we couldnt stop laughing at ourselves=P ohwelll, nice attempt i would say hehh=) and i love the cake seriously, the design is so pretttyyyy! i shall upload the pictures once someone is un-lazy enough to send hehh=)
town-ed with cow and gor today yayy(= they wanted to catch bolt so we went, it was quite nice actually hahahaha, plus i cant rmb when was the last time i caught a movie with them, so its really nice((= i think chai is going to kill me for leaving her alone with the band guys the other day=/ shopped after tt as usual, spent a little cash tooooo=P then dinner!! hahaha omg dinner was loveee. had seafood at turfcity and i havent been eating tt much since...idk hahaha. i wanted to take pictures to spite people but by then the food was already like half gone hahaha=P ohwelll, food was awesome, company was even better<3

though i totally love going back to msia, i must admit its quite sad to hear family issues/conflicts and all. sometimes i wonder if a big family like ours can stay strong together forever.
and though i love familygatherings here, its hard to stay high and happy each time now because it just feels empty after a while. and now theres another issue and i seriously think it shouldnt be happening at this point of time.

but the trip back to msia was greattttt=D this time round many were back and its really nice to everyone again. good food, good talks, good company, hehh i guess tts all it takes to make an awesome weekend((=
went off to yishun from the checkpoint last evening to jm's and it was just more fun. though we only spent 2hours there, it was still very entertaining and its so rare that we see one other on 2 consecutive days [well except on my grandmama's funeral tt is] =)
hmmm, im starting to feel sad cause january is drawing near and many seniors will be off to tekong, like reallyyy sad tsk. feels like few years back when gor and my cousins went ns. people like band seniors esp sean rujun, class seniors like tingwei weiguo, and gor... haiiiiii, its like losing lots of joy in life, will miss them alot alot mehhh=/

NOEL!=DD
wheee, so noel was held last night and i think we did a pretty good job((=
section lunch at 1130 [very early yes] at currywok with chai irene amanda jason and cheryl(= settled tickets with lily and jingyi when we came back and omg lily carried a yalam bag! hahaah high five jingyi, lily totally rolled her eyes at us hahaha=P took a long time to get the banner up in the audi after tt due to erm, lack of equipment hahaha. but i think the noel banner was nicee!=D rehearsed lalala then dinnered. and we thought it was going to be the capriccio bento but ohwelll hahaha.
sneaked out of rua with chai before the concert to see what was going on at the reception area and hohoho saw jiaen and mandy!=D i think i gave good directions, they made it to the audi in less than 5minutes! hahaah im so proud of myself(((= ohh hahaha and i heard gor wanted to surprise me=_=' when obviously it wasnt successful cause i saw him, i mean his back and bag and weixin said sth to sean which gave it away hehh. but good attempt nonetheless, i appreciate it alot!((=
concert was not bad on the whole, except some screwups here and there for myself. but i think i did okay for the threnody part though(= goodjob on your solo chai!=D and goodjob too irene lionel jiachen chai for all your gimmicks, i think the audience had a pretty good laugh=D and thankyou so much sean and kheexuan for being such awesome emcees!=D
welldone horns, you guys did great! and to the juniors, jason ziyan cheryl jiexuan, hope you guys had fun playing with us and its been truly a wonderful experience working with all of you(= so jason ziyan please join band next year!! hahaha and thankyou batchmates chai irene and amanda for pulling through all the practices with me, giving me support and encouragement, i love you all!=DD and not forgetting nutcase, we miss you lots and hope your attachment went well((= hmmm i must say im really glad to have joined band and the horn section, we make a superb section(((=
