i really hope i havent lost the love and passion for band.
band in crescent may not have been the best in terms of skills and techniques, but it sure was the enjoyable place to be in during my 4years as a crescentian. well we did screw up performances and even syf`o5, but we pulled ourselves together to eventually put up a splendid one on syf`o7. it wasnt about skills, perfect rhythmic sense and all. it was about the passion for band, the determination to do the school proud, the promise to our seniors and the love for one another and mrschua. i still can remember our syf song, the one which we always sing before syf, the one which always make mrschua tear. it may sound stupid to others, but it held a special place in our hearts for most of the alumni, maybe even up till now. 'if you lose your way, think back on yesterday, remember what we've done, remember we're one'. honestly, i applaud the senior who wrote it. those lines never failed to give us confidence and strength to stand tall and proud on stage, and i do hope they do so to cgssbteamo9 next week as well. and the feeling when we stepped down was awesome, not because we could dump all the stress and burdens to the juniors, but because we knew that we've done something real for the band before marking the end of our journey in cgssb. it wasnt the gold, it was the spirit, the true blue cgssb spirit. life in cgssb wasnt about the applause you receive during performances, it wasnt about how much attention the school gives you too. its about the people, the friendship and yes, the love. jiayou cgssb, fight hard and win the battle next tuesday. dont be afraid, and dont worry, just look at mrschua and thats all the strength you need. we may not be there physically to support you girls, but we'll be praying hard for all of you. you'll make this dream come true with mrschua((=
though hcband doesnt work the same as cgssb, i still think that we can make it if we want to. its the desire i guess, and we wont want to disappoint all our seniors. we'll 拼 for the remaining 36days!=)
jiayou too highschool, i guess we've grown to be a little attached to them, maybe because we share the same band room. all the best jiexuan!=) and ny too, esp cheryl!((=

some things are bugging me hmm. its like theres a combination of issues and all of them are actually quite trival come to think of it, but the fact tt they're all happening at the same time, it gets frustrated and urm at times irritating.
plus, where is my fat rubbish bin=/ alamak, i seriously hope gor is alright, alive and kicking! its getting scary when you havent heard from him for the past few days and yeah, im rather worried actually. but i believe he is fine and doing well, though i do hope to receive a text like at 5am in the morning or sth. mehhh, i miss gor! esp during times like this when i feel helpless and useless=(
on a separate note, syf started today! well for secondary schools at least. im starting to feel the jitters and all, though ours will only come like a month later. but stillllll. ohwelll, we'll pull it through, i hope((=

now if you think i'll just get soooo busy and will collapse and die eventually, you're wrong. i am strong and i'll prove you wrong. i may not be able to ace this blocks, but i know i've worked hard for it. you may think im being stupid for 'finding trouble for myself' (quoted you), but i think i'll emerge as a stronger and more capable girl after all these. right, the next 2 months may crush me flat, but im not going to die, neither am i going to let my academics drown and die. i cant guarantee the best A-graded results, but i'll fight hard.
headed down to crescent after school to hear the band with liwei. well actually i thought they were not bad!=) ahh yes, obviously theres still room for improvement, but i think they're doing a great job((= yeah, at least there is no more crisis now and i think they're going to make it on 7th. jiayou kids, do all of us, crescent, the alumni, mrschua and yourselves proud alright, lets go cgssb!<33

hmmm lets talk about manhattan on 21st! hahaha yayy, so it was dinner at ps to celebrate jm's birthday and as usual, no one was on time. hahaha and poor xtee and jm had to sit inside manhattan and suffer from the waitresses' stares while waiting for us. but it wasnt my fault hahaha. food was not bad and needless to say, the company was awesome. andand the cheesecake was niceeee! hahaha although i couldnt tell the difference between oats and crushed walnuts=_= went to the arcade after dinner to see see. i realised i havent gone to an arcade since ages hahaha, shows that im guaii=D was quite amazed by this malay guy at the bball machine, he is super good! hahaha and the fact that everyone started crowding around him shows how good he was. drove to selegie area for the 'famous rochor tauhuay' (quotes B3) after that and the whole place was packed with people omg. we had to settle for seats in the alley. it was so dark and scary and i kept thinking tt there'd be some gang fight later=/ but food was quite nice so yeah, worth the trip(= passed by hwachong on our way home and there was the gala dinner going on hehh. the lighting was really great in my opinion, as in it lit up the sky yeah. then we saw this old couple at the bus stop reading the idk, school mag or sth hahaha and it was actually quite heartwarming to see that. gor was saying we should go back during the 100th anniversary like 10years later tooooo hahaha, quite true((=
alright, now lessons are going to start and band is going to resume tmr too. and just when i was all ready to pia for syf, the balloting results were out=_= we're like after SA and VJ this is like OMGOMGOMGWTHHHH. yeah, they were gwh bands in o7 and they're reallyyy goood. aiyah how now brown cow=S its gng to be on 7thmay morning for us which is sth new for me i guess, since my previous ones were in the afternoon. rarrr. jiayou hcband!

stj ystd was awesome, apart from the fact tt jingyi pangsehed me for idk, vectors? nah cant blame her, shes been busyy like a beeeee this whole week=( but its okay, after next tuesday everything will be better fob!=D plus theres no h3 for the next 2weeks hehh, extra joy((= right back to stj, not much excitement abt revelation but i think the juniors are a fun bunch of kids yayy, and seeing people like andie wutong and leon camwhoring like girls hahaha, i think its better not to judge books by their covers=PP food was not bad, company was great so yeah, nice!=D and hohoho mcflurry hehh, went to eat with the guys since the icecream inside shokudo was so exxxx. talked a little abt careers, sounds intellectual hor but they were being stupid cause quek was like,'just go bandage your legs and arms and go beg. or set up an organisation and you can plant your beggars all over singapore. then get commission'=_=
on a separate note, cgssb's syf is on 7th april, early on a tuesday morning. which means we cant go down to listen!=(((((( rarrrr, maybe i can fall sick on tt day, maybeeee=D but nonetheless, jiayou fellow bandits! shall visit them after blocks to support people like keziahseow and shun bian give a cheeshanish talk to the horns hahaha. okay it'll just end up to be some laughing session ohwell.

i guess cher-e's words did set me thinking quite a bit. do for the fun, do for the passion, yes?
been hearing lots of stuff abt scholarships, about careers and stuff recently. dont really want to keep on thinking abt all these, since i have more or less decided on my urm yeah, future career path if you call it. but then again, you cant help but worry for yourself when you hear others going on abt studying overseas, getting a good job(in terms of income)... ohwellll, we shall see.
pw comments were out too. idk if it was good, esp when the whole class got roughly the same comments. am glad that op comments was not bad. there was this one which said 'good smile'. i saw that and thought, 'the irony.'
