SO. today marks the end of 2008 and i actually cant believe it. maybe this year really passed way too fast. ohwelll, this year has been alright on the whole i guess(=
january was a month of fun, mainly because there werent any official lectures or what. orientation was great beyond description with a bunch of funloving ogmates and a fab ogl who eventually morphed into my godbrother hahaha. and then 24th, besides lily's 17th, our 'O's results. i swear that was one of the best things that has happened to me(= my heartfelt gratitude goes to crescent and its team of wonderful teachers<33
i cant recall much abt feb-april, just lessons proper and lots of tests i guess=/
may was, as usual, the best month of the year hehh. turned 17, a cool age like i mentioned(= felt a lot more mature and learned to use my binoculars more[cgssb lingo=P] 30th was capriccio, my first concert with the hcband, one of the best group of musicians one can ever play with, and the horn section, the high-est section in the band=DD
june-october was a period of mugging mainly, for blocks and for promos. honestly, i've never seen people mugging so hard before. call me a mugger yes, but its really my first time seeing people mugging in almost every corner of the school=S or maybe crescent is just slacker hahaha. didnt expect myself to do superbly well, so i was just glad to have been promoted(((=
then came november, the disaster. op was on 4th, grandma departed on 3rd. it was already hard to do up op stuff and getting the whole group ready and grandma's incident just dealt a blow on me. 3rd's night was the worst in my whole entire life seriously.
december hmmmm. had noel on 4th, with the highsch and nanyang juniors. it was a good attempt, us and the organising committee. and the horn juniors are great kids to have((= then christmas, one of the more happy family events this year [refer to previous previous post]=D
yeah so thats about all this year. and i wouldnt have survived this year and all these wouldnt have been possible without these few people(s) :
- og25, for giving me a great start to the year and for all the love and joy and fun which made hc so much more friendly and lovely=DD- tingwei, for being a superb angel and ensuring that i didnt get outcasted during pae period. thankyou for those talks here and there which enlightened me quite a bit, and thankyou alot for the support in november. all the best in ns next year kay!=DD
- hcband, seniors and batchmates, for making band practs so much more enjoyable and less dreadful(= its been really nice working with you guys and thankyou for making me laugh every pract. school has become a betterbetter place with all of you around<33
- hchorns! hahaha yes, the most talented, enthu and funny people in the band((= thankyou for all the jokes which kept all of us awake during practs. thankyou too, for all the encouragement and support [batchmates esp], and the rubbish [mostly during morning assemblies]. to batchmates and juniors, we'll own syf together, hchorns ftw!<33- gor, for always being there. thankyou so much for everything, esp being my permanent rubbishbin(= weeklys've been fun with all your smses and night rides home have been really entertaining with your calls. do take lots of care next year alright, i thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for being such an awesome character in my life<33
- jingyi, my dearest classmate=PP hahaha thankyou for keeping me alive in class, tts so very important and keeping me updated with all the latest gossips. i look forward to another wonderful year with you, jiayou for As, seeyou soon!<33
- LILYY, my beloved bff for 5 years and counting(= seriously, i cant imagine life without you hahaha. thankyou for being a call/sms/centralplaza away, and your hugs and shoulders have always made the worst things fine. well, being such close friends, you should know what i want to say hehh. jiayou for everything next year, esp 'A's, wo ai ni hen duo hen duo!<33
- besties(= thankyou for everything this year, all the love and support. thankyou for making time for all the gatherings. sundays have been fab and filled with lots of fun and laughter with your company. though this year didnt end too well for all of us, we'll pull through it together and im sure it'll make us stronger than before. thankyou for being the bestest cousins one can ever have<333 last but not least, HAPPY 2009 ALL!=D
