281207. today marks the OFFICIAL end of my journey as a cgssb-it and marks the OFFICIAL start of my longlong journey as a cgssb alumni member((=
so there is band farewell today, for the sec4s [which is us] and there is also the celebrations for syf2oo7 [just to refresh our memories, we got GOLD.] and ME`o7. went to school at ard 12 and was welcomed by linda, michellina, lian, tessa and isabellewong. funny people. waited a rather long while for the others to arrive, but sadly many din turn up cos they're either overseas or not free=( video was funny but somehow it did touch my heart because it walked us through our 4years in cgssb, how we turned frm amateurs to more experienced ones, from juniors to seniors, from strangers to closefriends and from individuals to one united batch. though pris said in her speech,"i know you guys dont want us back anymore...", i thank the juniors for being the best juniors one could ever have. oh, and i thank the hornists for the really nice scrapbook. your efforts are really really appreciated=DD had section lunch at tiong bk after that, but it was such a pity that jiaen wasnt present=( then again, im still very glad that our section is still so united and all. yay(=
seriously, im starting to miss the horns and the sec4s again. people like liwei, heng, gel, wj, yuen&gang, xinliang, wanling, ersy...
no more suaning yuen abt her hair during practs.
no more complaining to heng abt how high the notes in our scores were.
no more laughing real hard with liwei for no particular reasons.
no more crapping with the horns during sectionals when we were supposed to be practising really hard for syf and all.
no more eating first during section lunches just because i was the sl.
no more talking to the section before concerts and syf.
no more running away frm adelene and her glares when i say sth bad.
no more marching under the sun, grumbling at the same time.
no more running punishments with X2, and gloating at pris&heng&wj&comm for X3.
no more competing loudness with the trumpets during sectionals.
no more chionging down straight after class to the band room.
no more counting down to band practs during history lessons with yuen.
no more psycho-ing brina and making sure she turns up for band practs.
no more competing with adel to see who could cry first.
no more borrowing mallets frm the perc section to fix our horns.
no more cracking up at the slightest things yuen&gang do.
no more gossiping inside the storeroom abt random stuffs.
no more correcting yuen&adel&emi&heng's weird chinese and their essays.
no more adjusting my sitting position almost every minute just to ensure my tb doesnt break.
no more giving the mouthpieces and cups to the juniors to wash while we sit and slack.
no more shouting across the band room like some aunties in the market.
no more staring at the clock, wondering when yuen&wj will finish making announcements.
no more squeezing up the jam-packed 111 with lw, wj and xl during peak hours after practs so we could get home and chiong homework.
no more 'band stand's , 'go for sectionals's, 'can borrow your tuner's, 'go in for combine's and 'y'all are dismissed's.
no more band.

damn, they are making me all so sad again.

then, i started to realise im never gg to come back to crescent as a student anymore. and of course, there are many other people in crescent whom i love alot. lily, michc, liwen, bell, keon, joyce's', jingyi, darli, yanting, karen, michg, gail, jane, denise, peiyi, gloria, missng, laoshi's', mrschia, mrloh, mrstang...
will miss having michelle by my side and crapping with me all day long.
will miss lily doing all sorts of funny moves and 'siam-ing' whenever she hears 'NAIMA!!'
will miss su giving that whats-wrong-with-you face when mich and i dropped books and bottles on the floor and asked her to pick up for us.
will miss brina asking abt the concept that was taught a minute ago.
will miss having books strewn all over our tables simply because brina and darli cant be bothered to put their books under their desks.
will miss waiteng always[almost] paying attention to class because shes the council p.
will miss listening to bell's whines and complains because she was too tired, too sweaty or too sick of classes.
will miss flipping through keon's maths ex books and be amazed at the number of maths questions she've done.
will miss wendy and lili and the reps chasing after people for money.
will miss szewai turning red in the face whenever she was told to answer a question.
will miss jingyi and puisheen always competing to see who finishes given assignments first.
will miss mrloh and his weird handwriting=P
will miss mrstang's "cheeshan, this is how you should solve the sum..."s and "michelle, please do not split pages"s.
will miss the times we tried really hard to stay awake during mrschia's lessons.
will miss being bored during assemblys when mrslee or the teachers go on abt some philosophy of life.
will miss sitting next to yuen during assemblys by chance and talking abt band.
will miss sitting with yuen, brina and mich during history, not paying attention and talking abt our ccas.
will miss the"xia guo tiao jia dan"s on tues/thurs and "chao fan"s on friday.
will miss running up the rotunda because we were late for class.
will miss coming up with creative or stupid ideas during OM.
will miss doing central duty with neo.
will miss slacking at the back with eddy, bern and neo during council.
will miss yanting staring at me with the why-arent-you-wearing-your-council-tie look.
will miss the priceless look on mich's face when the solution in our test-tubes turn purple or green or pink.
will miss the stunned look on su/lily's face when she breaks a test tube or a burette in the chem lab.
will miss all the serious talks with bell ,lily and keon outside class during prelims period.
will miss sitting in the audi with all the sec4s, checking scripts and doing papers.
will miss scribbling furiously on the exam scripts like everyone else in the hall during Os.
will miss wearing the 'class of 2007' pullover in school.
will miss c2o4o5o6o7.
will miss crescent.
