back at home after a long day.
sec1 registration on today. had duties in the morn as early as 7pm.. and till noon. started off quite well, issuing the queue number for purchase of books and repeating myself like a broken tape recorder, ushering lost sheep to their respective classes. that was easy. coz i have EXPERIENCE. yeah, experience.
after mrs lee's briefing was chaos man. was a class councillor for the previous batch of sec1s so just had to sit arnd n help them get settled down in their classes. today was woah! kiasu parents practically chiong-ing their way down to the bkshop like some great crescent sale gg on. had to control crowd and i guess the flashin-the-number-on-the-tv system wasnt tt effective at the beginning. then the microphones came and of all pple, I had to speak in2 the mic and call parents to come forth when the number changes. the fun part was the walkie-talkie. took turns to speak and instruct the councillor to change the number on the tv screen. had a long chat while doin all these "duties" with nicole, carey, petrina, yanting... really farnie people i must say. made my boring duties fun afterall. was just tt the legs, soles to be exact, are painful. hurting coz of all the walkin and runnin arnd.
saw a couple of henry parkers coming to register and some to appeal. really felt qing1 qie4 when i saw them. its been long since i've last met people in HP uniform. haha. ended off well and i am sure the councillors had put in their best effort to make it a success and of course, given parents a good impression of CGS.
i was psycho-ing this parent not to change school coz her daughter is like cheeshan the second. chinese background and CMI english. shes afraid she cant cope with eL and get all stressed up. cant believe i actually spoke so long to her abt my own experience, my views abt crescent's system and all the pros tt will make i stay in crescent. i myself chose crescent as second choice. which kinda means i din want to be in crescent at first. but after these two years, i actually grew to love this sch and everything inside this architectural structure. now i stand here, tellin people how wonderful this school is and how her girl shld come to crescent showed me a vast difference in my thoughts, then and now. it is the tchers, the environment, the friends and the opportunities that made me grew fond of CGS. should i be in nanyang, i think i wun get much opportunities in doin different things and learning experience as much as i hav it here. i am quite sure tt girls who come on registration day wun want to miss the chance of joining in the crescentian fun as many other want to come in too, just like me two years ago. i am now talking frm experience[this word appears too many times] so i guess my choice to stay in crescent was a right one. no, i am SURE it is.

din go for band today i am sorry horns. will sure to be there tml. i guarantee+chop.
had a really long-lost kinda gathering with my cousins on saturday. supposed to celebrate bro's birthday as well as givin him a farewell b4 his army. haha. really happy to see almost everyone ('cept andrew) around. nice eh?
spent like 4hours in party world. yeah, singing. what else? atmosphere is good but alot of us kept erhem-ing coz of sore throat. well, we still managed to produce good sounds larh. hoorays to party world coz we getta sing more new released songs n the room is spacious larh. cannot hiam liao. the drinks not bad too. trust me, u'all shld go try it [not the drinks but the party world lar]. the bill was shockin [although we knew it beforehand] coz its like woah, 120bucks leh. but luckily got like 10 of us, if not i surely first to be bankrupt de.
dinner at clementi was erm...erm. the fish and chips was so damn oily leh!! its lyke u can practically see the oil oozin out of the fish when u poke it with yr fork. eew. i am makin everyone hate fish&chips now. shant say the stall name but left me a "good" impression. yeah.
last segment of the day was pool. was supposed to learn how to pool properly, the fingers and the posture initially. but we ended up playing some photo hunt thing in a machine. those that u hav to find out the differences in the two similar pictures. lame larh, but who knows we got so addicted to it. spent lyke 5bucks on it i think. imagine 5pairs of eyes spotting 5 differences each round. farnie coz u tend to press on one another's fingers. haha.
ooh, guess what. saw this person i shant mention. then we like attract her attention and tried to make her malu larh. [marilyn u bad gurl!!] haha. well, it ended off nicely, how it was supposed to end. efforts to organise this paid off larh.

i am back!!!!! belows gonna be a longgg postt i guess....

its nice to be in kuching for 4days. guess its becoz my cousins and relatives are arnd to join in the fun and all tt. kuching is a really un-busy city i can say, all the shops and malls close at 9.30pm and open at like... 10am?? u can find practically nothing if u step outta the hotel at 9.45pm. trust me.
the hotel is nice though. the rooms and the facilities they offer like the hair-dryer which i was intending to bring along last week. laugh. but, the hotel room is damn bloody cold and freezy and who could imagine them having a swimming pool at the 2nd storey. its so hidden till no-one expects it to b there. seriously, i dunno why.
we spent like almost half of the whole journey on the bus and a quarter in the hotel. so it leaves us with only a quarter of the time sightseeing and really travelling[with our feet]. nothing much to see there coz u only see cat sculptures everywhere w/o seeing a real one. then u go to all those cultural places or ulu caves and no modern places where u find yrself really fitting in. except mayb for the shopping hours, free time and meal time. right.
stuffs there are gg really cheap. u can bargain and slash the prices till u are satisfied and at the same time they selling it with a reasonable profit. like my dad bought this pair of shoes at RM110 when they sold it for RM179.90 at first. big difference eh?? so yupp, stuff are cheap and if u are finding things, u can go there n try yr luck. once u find it, u are sure to get it really cheap. tt is one good thing about kuching.
nothing to say about there le. preparing for my trip next friday to penang with my cousins. different ones this time. heard tt penang has good tourists attractions so think should b an enjoyable one bah.

around 5pm liaoz... lets say 13hours to departure for malaysia and to some kuching place for holiday. yay. yay? dunno larh, just felt sian packing stuff and felt sian thinkin of all the walking and sightseeing... er-hem, not to my liking and walking+ sightseeing=not my forte.

went to botanical gardens today to get joy luck club frm gail for eL homework thing. damn that main entrance for being locked. or damn gail's mum's friend for working there. had to walk for 20mins through this deserted pavement with only cars, terraces and grass. wah. imagine i were to go there at night. i guarantee+chop i will die there, either scared to death, tired to death or got knocked down by some unknown cars. i hereby declare that i dun lyke botanical gardens. never.

if u are thinkin why i am still here crappin lyke some eccentric person instead of packing my stuff, i am lazy. plainly lazy to pack larh. imagine i hav to pack N unpack few days later. thinkin of havin to travel like some nomads under the hot sun makes me giddy. tou3 dou1 da4 le4.dang.
come to think, i am not those tt will yearn for holiday trips. UNLESS. unless i go with some people i like to go with. travelling with cousins n relatives in m'sia this trip. thot we might have a breakdown in communication soon coz i cant speak malay for nuts. yes, nuts. nah, just kidding. they speak chinese too. du-uh. we have blood relation. *nods*
would prefer goin with here de cousins coz guess we meet up too often that we know one another inside-out. from each expression, each sentence and each action. really share MANY common interests and love to hang out tgt in certain places. u know where ppl. *winkx* quite sure to be laughin like madd and crapping if i were to be gg w the latter. coz we are the ultimate jokers. believe me. well, my m'sia cousins are not bad either. hav to convince myself i wun die walkin. will return after a short break of...5days?? stay tune [sound like some tv channel. guess all of u will die waitin for 5days.]

yay.yay!! finally decided to cut my hair... short layered hair...short fringe..no parting...
bet you think it looks like some little girl that will easily be cheated by old uncles... bleahx.
i think it looks...farnie. yeah, farnie.

havent been updating for longg coz was busy catching live of the SEA games from manila.. is really nice watching our sportsmen n sportswomen competing n of course, winning.

went out with xueting&lijun to town to accompany xt to her braces appointment. shopped around at far east, wanting very much to find a pair of slippers-kind sandals.. no avail larh. FAILED. lijun was looking for her dream bag, ended up finding the shop w/o the bag. FAILED.
no choice lorh..shopped arnd without any gains of any stuff but saw yanting n eunice...haha.
after long walks went to settle down at LJS for food n much-awaited rest. then this fierce-looking man [ scary i should say] came to the next table to ask for food. can u believe? then there was another girl at another table that gave him food lorh.. so.. eccentric.

kayys. will be off to two hoildays in this month. so u might not see much of a post until end of the trips for post-trips posts. thats all for now.. take care and tarras!!
